Meet the Founder
Charlie Alfarah, MEd, CDP®
I built ProjectLeo because people shouldn’t have to navigate healthcare alone.
I grew up helping my dad through doctor visits, ER trips, and discharge instructions. He spoke conversational English, but medical language was harder to navigate.
Working in pharmacies, I saw patients face insurance barriers and leave confused about their care. Later, I designed inclusive STEM courses and led enterprise DEI programs. Across those roles, I kept seeing the same problem: people left to figure out systems that weren’t built around them.
I’m Charlie Alfarah, MEd, CDP, founder of ProjectLeo. I built it to give people practical health support in plain language, so they can better understand their care and decide what to do next.
